The Circus Arrives Without Warning....and so do I.

Yes, thats right, after MONTHS of not having a computer, trying to do everything through apps, hating my tablet and frustrated by my phone.....I have a normal life again.

Its weird, the screen seems so big.

ANYWAY, I've been crafting during my absense, and here is a result.....a Realpuki sized diorama, inspired by The Night Circus.

How cute is this little reveure?

You can find the end result here: Night Circus Pumpkin

Teeeny tiny soft serve....

....for your teeny tiny sweet tooth.

I made these guys awhile ago and have enough to share, so I listed a pair on Etsy.

Also, I've been using Flickr more often, and I notice now you can see all the details of how I took the photo, like my type of camera, ISO and f-stop and stuff, or something. I really don't enjoy that, everyone is going to see how photo illiterate I am. This sort of sucks. On the other hand, I guess the pressure is on to actually learn how to use my camera.

Mini pumpkin house- Realpuki size.

So I keep making these things.

I thought I'd offer some of them for sale, because it's getting a little weird up in here. We got pumpkins all over. And honestly, I love making them. I can't stop. Therefore, I will offer a couple for sale in my Etsy shop, Lovefool Designs. (Which I haven't used in forever, since my ole jewlery craftin' days)

It is a realpuki sized diorama, made with various, various crafty materials.  You can see Jackie here, with his guitar (neither of which are included in the selling of this diorama) lookin cute and giving a good size reference.

Here's a cute little garden sculpture, made with some glass I found at the beach, and moss which I am addicted too.

I'll add some more pics and list in on Etsy as soon as I can get a shipping quote. But i really hope someone likes it. I love it, but I made it so it really doesn't count. I can't be the only one out there obsessed with realpuki pumpkin houses!

The jewel thief....

My little fairy sifting through the vintage jewelry box which I inherited from my great aunt.
Her dress is off a mini Dal ballerina doll, which I just dyed with regular food colouring (on impulse, while doing my Easter eggs).

Beatrix is pensive.....

I really like this pic. Its a little bright, but considering most of my photos need to be edited into brightness, I will take what I can get. Also, I'd like some backgrounds or some props which would make this more fun.....if not for me, than for the cats who never leave me alone when I try to do this.

Rhino on the loose...looking for a new home.

014 So this guy is up for consideration. I would like 220$ + shipping, he is a complete full set and been out of his box 3 or 4 times. Lookit those little nostrils. How precious!

I'd also accept trades for:
Littlefee chole, ante -no elves
Blythe dolls
IMDA Babette or Gian 2.2
Souldoll Sophie full set
Souldoll Heber
I've got feedback from DOA and some on etsy if it helps.

Where there's candy, you will find Tinsley....

You know what rocks? Snacks.

Posh snacks, while wearing a girly party dress, in your pink abounding home.

That candy jar hidden way up top looks empty.....but it isn't. Unless she ate them when I wasn't looking.

DHS Mica makes it home.....love love LOVE him.

This guy is so cute!!!
I am so impressed with the quality of this little dude....he's perfectly adorable, stands and poses really well...(better than my RealPuki I think) and he is balanced....if you want to stand him, and he seems tippy, all you need to do is tilt his head a little, move his torso....etc....he is so well balanced!

Ok, enough.
But really, if there is one thing I hate its a doll that won't stand or pose well. Kills all the fun.

Speaking of fun....here is my Mica....having fun!

So happy with this guy. I really needed a dolly fix, and I was not dissapointed at all....love him...

Should I name him Rataxes?

Tattoos are addictive....

Even when they are just on resin...

I decided Beatrix needed a tattoo, cause I was bored and couldn't find any freaken fake butterflies to finish my stupid belljar. Seriously, why is it so hard to find a nice looking fake butterfly? How many craft stores do I have to visit?

So, since I can't finish the belljar (so much for a quick project) Beatrix gets some ink.

I suck at drawing, so I found an image online of something simple to copy the shape of the fish, and the fishes head. Also to help with shading.

Here is the outline:

Then I added some colours with pastels and watercolor pencils. I had a hard time with the water thats around the fish....I felt it needed something, but really had no inspiration for waves or anything. So it is what it is.

And here is Beatrix all put back together again, showing off her tattoo.....

It might not be perfect but I loved doing this. I want her to have something on her neck, on her chest....I think I will have to cover her in tattoos. so.much.fun.

Beatrix v.2.0

I keep fiddling with her face....but I do see progress. Only I noticed, her eyebrows are waaaaaay to high. I think this is ok, because it seems her bangs will hide my mistake. Next time I wipe her face (inevitable), I'll have to remember to correct that!

Little Miss lacy-pants.

I just got some cute and fancy undies for my Beatrix (MNF Lishe) and she just had to play the 'coquine' for the camera.
I really like how she poses. She also has new eyes, which I think I went too dark when I ordered them, and you know, I think she needs a new wig too. This hobby is a spendaholics dream.

Only to find this little duder at Fabric and Friends! Yaaaaaay! I think he will make the perfect adoptee for Tinsley. And of course, I cannot wait to GET him! (pic is from dreamhigh studio)
You can see him, and his sister here: DreamHigh Studio I defy you not to love him.

Roro's new (again) faceup....

I've had this girl for just over 2 years now....and seriously, I still have no idea what to do with her. I *think* I want her to be some sort of sugarplum fairy or a tooth fairy..... SO here is her new facie, done by me, and franky, I think I'm improving at faceups.
BtW- the lint on her face is not stuck in the faceup, that blasted white 'carpet' is a magnet for every hair and flecka in a 2 mile radius.

Here is.....whatever her name is....with some eyes that I hate but were the only ones I had lying around. She's evolving!

Jackie's time to shine!

Since it's Halloween....here's my guy, Jack. His home needs work, but he's sort of a spartan guy anyway!
Happy Halloween!!!

The Pumpkin house....

Ok, well I have been toying with ideas for making a home for my Realpuki Roro, Ghost.
And I can't help it, even though it's been done....I want to make a pumpkin house.
Luckily, we had a crap-ton of halloween decorations boxed up, and I found a nice big pumpkin to carve up.

I wanted the inside to look like an actual dried out pumpkin, so I concocted this recipe of acrylic texture paste, craft sand, yellow and cream paint, and some pastel dust:

So I mixed it up and smeared it on:

And then added some pastel dust for effect, just scraped 2 shades of orange onto the paper with a blade, and then I gently blew it into the wet....'recipe':

And here it is, dried, with the cardboard beginnings of the stone fireplace (which I worked on today and will post pics of very soon- its AWESOME). I really like the colour, and am VERY excited about this project!:

Maybe just something as simple as a photo- from my new camera.

here is my new favorite photo ever.
